If you're trying to make money online and maybe have a website or thinking of making one, then are some important points you really should know. Like, how are you going to get people to see you site, if you don't have people, coming to your site, you won't get any sales.
Many people think it's easy to drive traffic (people) to your site but it's not that easy, believe me, I've been trying for a long time. Then there is back links, trying to get authority sites to put your site on theirs, this can be very laborious too.

2. Find blogs in your niche and leave comments, add your URL and it will usually be linked to your name. It all depends on the owner if they approve your comment though.
3. Email marketing, collecting emails on a site commonly called a squeeze page; you have to enter a code from your auto responder company. This can take time and lots of effort, but, some people have huge lists and make a lot of money from them.
4. Give away FREE things, this is quite good, as I mentioned before, you will need to create a squeeze page, upload it to your server, add your auto responder code and hopefully capture names and addresses.
5. Create blogs on sites like Squidoo and Hub pages; this has worked for a lot of people, because Google loves these sites. Find your good keyword, and create your site around it. Write good content and put say an, affiliate URL in it.
All these are good strategies; however they can take a lot of work and lots and lots of time. But, don't despair, there is one other method I have just come across and looks really promising. It's a viral way of generating traffic.
It takes little time and little effort but the rewards can be enormous. The concept of getting other people to promote your site time and time again is very smart I think. The beauty of this method is it just keeps on going, like a VIRUS....it never stops.
